I designed and built this piece for a client needing a unique solution for their sunroom seating. They wanted a custom settee for a round table but had to maintain access to the windows behind it. So I developed a concept that curved down sufficiently in the back to enable the windows to open in the middle while still providing a comfortable backrest. In addition, the input from my client and the fabric they selected elevated the piece resulting in a stunning collaborative effort.
In 2011, I designed and developed the Graff Chair, part of a boutique collection of high-end upholstered furniture featured in a showroom at the Seattle Design Center. From the initial concepts through the final product, I ensured that every piece in the line was not only beautiful but also comfortable and functional.
